More sample of "the ceramics-mosaics" boxes (See the first post here). This is a wood box with the dimensions of 8 inches by 12 inches. The top of this box is decorated by tiny pieces of ceramics, which we specifically made for this work. This design still be one of the top products in our studio.

 

We put the T-bar turning key inside the box so you don’t have to flip the box up side down in order to wind up the spring. Choices of types and color of the fabric can be decided by customers. You can also choose whether to show the movements or not. The partition inside the box can also be customized configured.

Take a closer look at this mosaics — These tiny pieces of authentic ceramics were cut before put in the kiln of 800 degree celcius. By cutting these pieces before firing them, we obtain non-sharp edges. This method take consume a lot of time and patience but give a better result than trying to break some bathroom tiles into small pieces.
